Usually working with liquid cosmetics,Bandy would mix his colours at home & then tie them up in 2 small Japanese baskets.He was a visionary in the formulations he used - his foundations were blended with eye drops to tighten the pores,promoting the flawlessness he worked for.He was always perfectly made up himself,turning up to fashion shoots wearing inconspicuous base & powder. 

Way Bandy as far as I can remember was the first introduction to makeup i ever had as a child. Somewhere, i saw his book, "Designing Your Face", I can recall reading it and looking at the pictures, who would have guess so, so so many years later that I would be a makeup artist by trade myself. Famous for collaborating with the every eccentric fashion ICON  Francesco Scavullo, who hands down was responsible for Cosmopolitan Magazines Success.

 In My Early years of makeup I readily turned to Way Bandy's style to make it my own II learned how to contour a face from Way Bandy, as you can see in this video , he had quite the heavy hand. I myself pull a Bandy from time to time.
