Every one's  got  there something, well at least that's what singer Nikka Costas Is signing in my ears at this moment. So, I thought Why not share my something;s with you, A few of my favorite things.

These shades are blendable too so you can wear them sheer or as dramatic as you like.  These Creaseless Shadows have great staying powder, i mean, 12 hours on set in hot lights, perfect. great for the gal that seems to eat her makeup. quick tip: for keeping it sheer? blend evenly from the lash line to brow bone. For buildable coverage, let the shadow sit for hm, about 30 seconds then apply another layer.

quick tip: for lining eyes, sweep tip of brush into the shadow. place edge of brush against upper lash line at outer corner of your eye and ever so steady draw a line towards the inner of your eye. Then smudge in into the lash line for sexy softer look. repeat on lower lases.  BENEFIT $19.00

TARTE cheek stain in tickle ~ 

Hands down this is one of my favorite blushes these days. I use this almost every time I do the lovely Brooke Burns Makeup. what I love about it is that its buildable and i can apply it sheer for just a kiss of color or over another color for depth.  It give the cheeks a healthy glow that's not wet looking, but healthy and  beautiful. Also these are made to wear on your lips too.  Don't let the color shade of the packaging scare you.  i was like, "this is grape, no thanks", but i gave it a try and look love forever.

SMASHBOX Nude Eye Shadow in nude ~ this is a staple in my kit at all times, i have up to 4 at all times, what i like about this shadow is that it can be worn alone for a clean , soft look, or washed on in layers to create a deeper eye, but still look natural. also it's great for contouring the eye and as a blueprint shade to outline the design your going for..and its MATTE! yes!  long wearing too!  MAC  Pro Long wearing eyeshadow in Legendary Black [warm almost black]  I love this new to me unique eye shadow with it's  silk-creamy texture  thats' easy to blend and build. creates a smooth eye lids no matter how dramatic the application and last up to 8 hours

here's a tip: I like to use it as eye liner, mix a little water with your angle liner brush and glide ever so evenly at the top lash line, the almost black shadow leaves a more subtle, yet still dramatic look.

I wanted to share with you guy's my Lip Gloss shade of the moment, SMASHBOX LIP ENHANCING GLOSS in AFTERGLOW. It's a sheer, shimmery cool pink that leans towards the pinkish, nude spectrum of colors. I have been really into this shade for a while now. Let's say , It's some what of a signature color for me. I always have it in my kit and always have a few just in case. When I use this on an actress or a client, they always end up taking it home with them, so I need to be stocked up. I find that depending on your lips own natural pigment. Afterglow can look completely different on anyone. I actually tend not to use any with lip liners too, I think the color stands on its own leg alone, but when I do use a lip Liner, I tend to stay very natural, almost matching the lip as much as possible. A few liners that I do use along with Afterglow are,THE NUDE LIP LINER from SMASHBOX, in LIGHT and STRIPDOWN by MAC. So you see there are very nude in shade.

Palettes Are A Girls Best Friend! Or Carry your face in your purse!

Like Marilyn Monroe sang, " Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend", well that may still ring true but I'm here to say that a close second in line is a fabulous makeup palette.  The Idea of a Makeup Palette is,  All you need in one place. Think about it, your whole face in a palette of various shapes and sizes and you just toss it in your purse and hit the streets on your adventures, weather your a hipster out on the town or a career girl with her eye on the boss,  a makeup palette makes  going to the "powder room" a piece of cake, gone are the days  of digging through your purse for all those pesky small individual cosmetics, and besides that means you have one big ass bag.

Well, I will be damned! These little palettes are pack with  amazing pigment and color and hold on for a long time, I am so surprised that i have gotten a few more.  I am a bit concerned about what they are made of,  i guess that will be my next task. So far no ones complained. HEHE!

After smoothing lightweight foundation onto your skin, Use  fingers to swirl cream bronzer around the sides off your face .  Starting at the temples, working down to the upper cheekbones, and continuing down to the jawline. There are a few other ways to achieve this look.  I like to use Smashbox Paradise Blush, slightly golden simmered peach with a touch of pink. I apply it with a medium sized  slant blush brush, from temples to apples, then Smashbox Radiance Blush, Fuchsia pink to the apples and lightly brush upwards.

Today's Beauty Break Down: Actress Brooke Burns for "FIXING PETE"

For this look Brooke's Character Ashley plays a news paper fashion editor who's heading to cover a fashion show in the upcoming film "Fixing Pete" I was really inspired from  the Italian films of the 1960's. I've always thought that Fellini would have loved Brooke's Beauty!

 So the breakdown starts.
I used Smashbox HD Foundation in L3 & L4,  I adore this foundation, create a healthy glow to the skin and still gives amazing coverage and it's made of great ingredients that actually help your skin.

I washed Smashbox Vanilla Shadow over the entire lid from brow to lash line, its flat and matte and very pigmented, i use this as a lid primer, it actually pops the color of the other shadows.

My Friend Lori Taylor over at Smashbox hooked me up with the new Masquerade Palette. I adore it, Strong, Smooth, Velvet coverage, just amazing , I used the Gold to cover the lid and a blend of Purple & Blue into the crease of the eye and blend it into the top liner.

Then I had Smashbox Liquid Marker Liner  in Black to top lash line in a slight winged style, please make sure everyone in the makeup trailer is still or oops! there is goes!

Then I used Smashbox Limitless Black Eye Liner for the inner rims of her eyes and under the lower lash line for that dramatic sex look.

For Cheek Color I used Smash Bare, Simply put, you see it, but it's bare, i mean there............ filled with Light reflective properties that create an amazing glow.

and to finish , SmashBox Lip Enhancing gloss , Expose. A sheer gloss that not only beautiful and natural, but keeps the lips looking subtle and sleek.
