PLACES TO GO: Two of My Favorite Stops In West La

At least once a week I head over to THE RUMOR MILL  on Washington blvd. in west la, to  use the amazingly fast wifi they offer, and to eat some amazing food. I love there menu simple and just dang tasty, and well to do my laundry.  Food, Internet & laundry , you really can't beat that in one place.  It also doubles as an art space, each month or so showcasing a new artist, I have been to a few of the exhibits and have bought a few pieces my self. And  on weekends there is always something fun happening, comedy, spoken word and musical artist galore.

 And the menu is amazing owner and chef Richard Barrera whips up easy, tasty treats! Sometimes i just let him choose what to make me. sometimes it;s Crepes? Turkey Pesto Sandwich is a sure winner...delish!

Sometimes you  find great little treasures in the places you least likely too. On my last adventure to Target, I found myself in there beauty isle, I love that target has a little  bit of everything. So i found these amazing Lipsticks by E.L.F., short for Eyes, Lips, Face. A cute inexpensive makeup line  that you may cancel out at first glance. I myself prefer lips to be lustrous and shinning, but not everyone shares that desire, so you need to be stocked with options, And at $3.00 each you really can't go wrong.
