In this day and age of the Hi-def  camera and television set. I thought why not share the best HD foundations with you all, in the case that you where wondering hey, what's the best HD foundation? Well, here are a few that I used myself  while filming film & television. Weather it's a hi def camera or a red camera, these foundations will do the trick. If your good at applying makeup you really could use just about anything foundation wise that is on your face for Hi-def, I have and it's fine. You just need to check your blending and lines.  So here are MY favorites and why i love them so....

This foundation creates a soft focus effect,  it creates flawless complexions and can withstand bright harsh lights. i love them  cause you can mix any shade to create the picture perfect color anyone. comes in 25 shades. SMASHBOX  HIGH DEFINITION HEALTHY FX FOUNDATION This foundations is priceless to me, i use this on everyone. currently  on actress Teri Polo.  she's shades Fair1 & a mix of Light 1. the great thing it that these shades are all mixable to create the color that you require.  They are SPF 15 so they add  a little extra protections  from the elements of shooting outside. I am very new to this product, but I am amazed, cause its the first drugstore brand makeup line to put out a Hi-def foundation  to be used on film and television as well as for everyday use. I have to say that i liked it.
It contains photo chromatic pigments that bend and reflect light to erase every flaw, um LOVE THAT!
Full, yet undetectable coverage with a soft  finish! i will try this again. and let you know the outcome............

Pinks, purples, burgundies, reds, creams, sheens, shimmers and mattes… from as far back as most of us can remember, lipstick has always been the primary staple in our makeup bag. Thanks to an endless array of shades and textures, lipstick allows us to play around with our looks and take us from day to night in less than 5 seconds.

Beyond its esthetic qualities, lipstick also has a nostalgic quality about it. We have many memories of applying our mother’s lipstick while her back was turned or of purchasing our first tube of luxury lipstick in our favorite shade.

Yes, lipstick has been our greatest beauty ally for as long as we can remember.

Nowadays we have the luxury of playing around with colors, selecting hues that suit our mood, an outfit or an occasion. But that sort of freedom wasn’t always an option for lip color lovers out there. In fact, lipstick shades have had quite a rocky history.

Throughout the 20th century, colors were very limited and the times and places one chose to apply them were often scrutinized.  For instance, in the 1920s it was the deep dark red shades were by far the most coveted, drawing cupid’s bow shapes over their lips, an ode to the era’s popular silent films. Lipstick was now officially regarded as a symbol of womanhood and maturity.

Later, in the 1930’s, more cosmetics brands began to emerge and with that came a new selection of lip colors. The new lighter shades made it easy for teenage girls to find age-appropriate colors while more mature women stuck with their beloved dark red tones.

The 40’s saw the arrival of safer and quality ingredients as well as the very first tube of long-lasting no-smear lipstick developed by Hazel Bishop.

Red lipstick came back with a vengeance in the 1950’s thanks to Hollywood legends Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor sporting it in some of their biggest blockbusters and public appearances. The cosmetics industry was booming and with that came new shades including shimmery pinks, peaches and lavenders. The pale hues continued into the 60’s where even white lipstick became a leading trend! In the 70s and 80s, darker tones – as in black – started flying off the shelves due to dramatic changes in popular culture. As we know, the 80’s were all about drama and glamour.

Today, we can walk up to a beauty counter and easily find the perfect shade -  whether you are looking for a 1920’s red, a 1980’s black or something in between – the perfect lipstick is out there for you. Brands have numerous texture options and new shades are introduced with every change of season and collection.

Using an eyelash curler is a great way to open up your eyes  and to emphasize them, making them wider, and brighter. In my line work i use an eyelash curler everyday and many times a day. Here's a Tip:

Please Ladies; Remember that mascara is applied after your eyelashes are curled. Otherwise you can cause serious breakage.

Whether you have short or straight lashes, eyelash curlers help make them look longer. Almost all drug and cosmetic stores carry three types of eyelash curlers- metal, plastic, and heated. I prefer using a metal curler, but you can choose what you feel more comfortable with . Also there are two ways that you can intensify your lash curl, 1. dip the lash curler into hot hot water, pat off and curl as usual. 2. Hit the lash rubber with heat using a blowdryer then carfully curl ~ becareful it's not to hot before you put it to your eye please.

And In case you didn't know of you've forgotten here's a how too in 6 easy step

STEP 1- Cleanse The Eyelash Curler

Naturally the curler should always be disinfected before using to prevent bacteria from entering the eye and causing irritation.

• STEP 2- Heat The Curler

If you desire long lasting curled lashes, then heat your curler. This will also make it easier to curl your lashes. Try using a hairdryer or hot water to heat the eyelash curler for ten seconds.

CAUTION: When blowing air on your lash curler or putting it in hot water - make sure that it is not too hot before using!

• STEP 3- The Lash Curler

Position your eyelash curler around your eyelashes - make sure that your upper lashes are between the edge of the curler.

• STEP 4- Squeeze The Curler

Squeeze the edges of the curler carefully and hold for ten seconds. Repeat if necessary. Make sure that the curler is fully open before removing it.

• Step 5- Apply Mascara

Look down and stroke lashes upwards with the tip of your brush. Do not overload the wand with mascara. Apply desired coat - this will depend on what you are trying to achieve.

• STEP 6- Comb Your Lashes

To give your lashes a more natural look and remove any excess mascara, you should comb your lashes.

USEFUL TIPS

1. Clean your lashes before curling them
2. To avoid pinching your eyelid, do not close the eyelash curler too close to the base of the lash
3. Instead of a plastic eyelash curler - choose a metal or heated lash curler
4. Use a hairdryer or hot water to heat your eyelash curler
5. Always apply mascara after curling the lashes
6. Curl the bottom lashes if you want to
7. Be sure to replace the pads on the curler every three months
8. Disinfect the eyelash curler before using
9. Dip a cotton swab in alcohol or eye makeup remover to clean your eyelash curler

Now go bad those peepers and get flirty.......and maybe even a date!
